Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly launched a £3m bid for Wigan Athletic forward Nick Powell.
The Seagulls are looking to revive their Premier League season as they sit two places above the relegation zone on goal difference alone.
According to the Daily Mail, Powell is the club's next target, but a deal has hit a snag due to Wigan being in the process of a takeover.
The League One outfit's new Chinese owners need to give the green light for a transfer, but have yet to provide an answer to the interest from Brighton.
The report claims that Wigan may request that Powell return to the DW Stadium on loan for the rest of the season.
