Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly identified Lille defender Ibrahim Amadou as a potential transfer target for the summer window.
During January, both West Ham United and Crystal Palace failed to push through a deal for the player, who is keen to make the switch to the Premier League.
However, according to Le10sport, the 24-year-old could still get his opportunity with Brighton seemingly keeping an eye on the situation.
Lille are in a position where they need to raise funds in order to meet FFP requirements in Ligue 1, and the French club are aware that they could receive the most money from a club competing in the Premier League.
As it stands, Brighton are best placed to remain in England's top flight having moved into the top 10 in the standings, and a switch to the south coast may appeal to Amadou.
Lille are likely to demand in excess of £15m for the player, who can also play in midfield.
