Brighton & Hove Albion have lost out to Millwall in their quest to sign Shaun Williams from MK Dons, according to a report.
The versatile Irishman has agreed to join Ian Holloway's side and will sign for them on Monday subject to a medical, according to The Argus.
The 27-year-old, who can play at centre-half or in midfield, has reportedly had talks with Albion this morning, but agreed to sign for Millwall instead after both clubs agreed a fee with the Milton Keynes club of around £250,000.
Williams played for Irish club Sporting Fingal prior to his move to the Dons in 2011.
