Championship outfit Brighton & Hove Albion have signed their sixth new player of the summer, bringing in Dutch midfielder Danny Holla on a three-year contract.
The 26-year-old joins the Seagulls after leaving Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag, where he scored 14 league goals over the last two seasons.
"Danny is a player who has plenty of top-flight experience in Holland with more than 200 senior appearances, and that experience is something we need," Albion boss Sami Hyypia told the club website.
"He is a deep-lying midfielder and the scouting reports I have seen on him show he likes to get on the ball, pass it and dictate the play – and I hope he can bring that to the team."
Hyypia has suggested, however, that Holla's lack of a pre-season could mean that he won't be ready to make his debut immediately.
