Bristol City defender Hordur Magnusson is said to be on the verge of joining Russian club CSKA Moscow.
The Iceland international is close to signing a four-year contract with the Champions League qualifiers in a deal worth €2.5m (£2.1m), according to the Bristol Post.
Robins head coach Lee Johnson was reportedly keen to retain Magnusson's services, but agreed to the sale after conceding that all parties stand to benefit from it.
The defender made 52 appearances for City since joining the club from Juventus in July 2016 for an undisclosed fee.
Magnusson was named in the Iceland squad which will travel to Russian for the World Cup finals.
