Bristol City manager Sean O'Driscoll has claimed that the club will have to 'move quickly' if they want to sign Brian Howard.
The 30-year-old midfielder is currently training with the Championship side following his release from Portsmouth last month.
"He's got Championship experience and is technically very good," O'Driscoll told the club's official website. "His personality would add something positive to the group.
"He's got offers from two other clubs so we have to make our move."
Championship strugglers City travel to league leaders Cardiff City on Saturday.
