League One table-toppers Barnsley aim to continue their perfect start to the new campaign when they meet Bristol Rovers at the Memorial Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Tykes put seven past Port Vale on the opening weekend, while Joey Barton's side took a point home from a 1-1 draw with Portsmouth.

A return to League One duty should be just what the doctor ordered for both sets of players in the wake of their early EFL Cup eliminations, although the hosts' final game with Mangan on the touchline should not be a memorable one.
With Barnsley head coach Collins sure to revert to most of the XI that taught Port Vale a footballing lesson last weekend, the Tykes should make it two for two in League One with relative ease.

Burton Albion vs. Derby (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Both aiming to bounce back from successive defeats at the start of the 2023-24 season, Burton Albion and Derby County square off in a League One affair on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts were dumped out of the EFL Cup by Leicester City in midweek, while the Rams also fell at the first hurdle of the competition to Blackpool.
We say: Burton Albion 0-1 Derby County
As neither crop of players are brimming with confidence right now, do not expect a classic at the Pirelli Stadium, where further injuries to Burton's already-depleted squad may prove crucial.
In contrast, Derby are blessed with a few more options for change in the forward areas, and despite Burton's respectable stretch of home form, Warne's side can shut up shop after drawing first blood to belatedly get off the mark.

Cheltenham vs. Bolton (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Bolton Wanderers will be bidding to continue their strong start to the season when they travel to Cheltenham Town in League One on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors opened their campaign with a 3-0 victory over Lincoln City last weekend, while Cheltenham suffered a 1-0 defeat to Shrewsbury Town in their first league game of the season.
We say: Cheltenham Town 0-2 Bolton Wanderers
It is still very early in the season, but Bolton were excellent in their division opener and look well-equipped to make a strong push for the title in 2023-24. Cheltenham, meanwhile, appear short in a number of areas, and we are expecting the visitors to claim all three points on Saturday afternoon.

Exeter vs. Blackpool (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Exeter City and Blackpool will both be targeting building on opening day victories when they meet in League One on Saturday.
Exeter secured an impressive 3-0 win away to Wycombe Wanderers, while Blackpool dispatched Burton Albion 2-0 at home.
We say: Exeter City 1-2 Blackpool
Both sides should be full of confidence after winning both of their opening matches of the season, but Blackpool carry more pedigree than Exeter having been relegated from the Championship last season.
They appear to have found able replacements for Yates in the form of Lavery and Jake Beesley, who have both bagged braces in Critchley's first two matches back at the helm. Their greater goal threat could give them the edge on Saturday in what should be an entertaining encounter.

Fleetwood vs. Cambridge (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Fleetwood Town will be hoping to secure their first win of the season against Cambridge United after drawing 1-1 away to Carlisle United last weekend.
Cambridge, meanwhile, secured an impressive 2-0 victory against Oxford United on the opening day.
We say: Fleetwood Town 1-1 Cambridge United
Only Lincoln City and Portsmouth drew more games than Fleetwood's tally of 16 last season, and Brown's side recorded another against Carlisle in their opening game of the new campaign.
With Cambridge performing much better than expected against a much-fancied Oxford outfit, we would not be surprised to see Fleetwood be involved in another share of the spoils this weekend.

Leyton Orient vs. Portsmouth (Saturday, 3.00pm)
After losing their opening two games of the season, Leyton Orient will be looking for a response when they welcome Portsmouth to Brisbane Road for Saturday's League One contest.
Pompey, meanwhile, have made a solid start to the campaign after drawing their opening league game and winning Tuesday's EFL Cup tie against Forest Green Rovers.

Portsmouth have proven to be a tough team to beat under John Mousinho, and after making a steady start to the campaign, we think they will claim their first league win of the season against newly-promoted Leyton Orient.

Lincoln City and Wycombe Wanderers will both be determined to bounce back from opening day defeats when they meet in League One on Saturday.
Lincoln were soundly beaten 3-0 away to Bolton Wanderers, while Wycombe lost by the same scoreline at home to Exeter City.
We say: Lincoln City 1-1 Wycombe Wanderers
Lincoln were the draw specialists in League One last season, with no side sharing the spoils as often as their tally of 20 times, and we can envisage another one against Wycombe on Saturday.
Both teams will be desperate to avoid defeat after each succumbing to 3-0 losses on the opening day, and in truth there is reasonably little to split these two sides in terms of overall quality.

Oxford United play host to Carlisle United on Saturday afternoon looking to bounce back from making a losing start to their League One campaign.
Meanwhile, newly-promoted Carlisle will be keen to build on their draw with Fleetwood Town last weekend as they bid to establish themselves in the third tier.

Manning will feel that he and his Oxford side are under pressure to deliver in this game, whereas Carlisle can play with a certain level of freedom. Despite those contrasting mentalities, we are backing Oxford to edge this fixture, potentially with a goal in the closing stages.

Peterborough United will be looking to make it three wins from their opening three games of the season when they welcome Charlton Athletic to the Weston Homes Stadium on Saturday.
Fresh off the back of crashing out of the EFL Cup, the Addicks will head into the weekend looking to quickly find their feet and end their 11-game winless run against the hosts.

While Charlton Athletic will be looking to return to winning ways, they face a spirited Peterborough United side who have flown out of the blocks this season. The Posh have enjoyed the better of this fixture in recent years and we are backing them to come away with all three points once again.

Port Vale and Reading will both be looking to pick up their first points of the League One season when they face off at Vale Park on Saturday.
The Valiants began their league campaign with a demoralising 7-0 defeat to Barnsley, while the Royals were edged out by Peterborough United.

Both sides would have taken confidence from their midweek cup victories, and they will now be looking to claim three points for the first time this season.
While off-field issues have hampered their recruitment, Reading can still field a strong side, and we think they will have enough quality to edge out Port Vale on Saturday.

Stevenage vs. Shrewsbury (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Shrewsbury Town have a chance to win their opening two League One matches for the first time since 2017-18 when they visit Broadhall Way to battle Stevenage on Saturday.
Both sides were victorious in their opening league fixtures last weekend as the Boro scored late to beat a fellow newly-promoted side in Northampton Town 1-0, while the Shrews defeated Charlton Athletic by that same score.
We say: Stevenage 1-0 Shrewsbury Town
Just like a season ago, the Boro have been creating surprises, and we believe they will be able to frustrate the Shrews on Saturday and find another way to win.

Wigan vs. Northampton (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Matchday two in the EFL League One will see Wigan Athletic look to continue their winning start to the season when they take on Northampton Town at DW Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts got their season off to an excellent start as they overcame Derby County 2-1 in their opening match of the season, while the visitors suffered a 1-0 defeat against Stevenage.
We say: Wigan Athletic 1-2 Northampton Town
While Wigan did suffer a somewhat unexpected defeat in midweek, we expect that they will bounce back with a solid performance in this one. The hosts have looked poor over their past two matches this season, and while we feel they will get on the scoresheet, the visitors should outscore them by the final whistle.
