A last-minute goal from Ryan Brunt ensured that Bristol Rovers took all three points against Barnet in League Two this evening
Both keepers were called on in the opening 10 minutes, Graham Stack having to stop a strike from Bristol's Fabian Broghammer while Ibra Sekajja was kept out by Steve Mildenhall at the other end.
Rovers saw the better of the attacking play in the first half, as Broghammer and John-Joe O'Toole both caused problems for the Barnet defence.
Barnet kept the ball well after the break, but the hosts kept them pinned back inside their own half and continued to produce the majority of the chances.
The home side's persistence was rewarded in the 78th minute, when Lee Brown picked out Broghammer inside the six-yard box, and the German slotted the ball home.
Barnet pushed hard for an equaliser in the closing stages, and found one in the 90th minute through Harry Crawford.
However, Brunt restored the home side's lead deep in injury time to move Rovers away from the relegation zone.
