Burnley have completed the signing of Stockport County defender Kyle Brownhill on a one-year deal.
The 18-year-old, who spent the summer on trial at Turf Moor, has joined the Championship club's development squad.
"Stockport seems to be a good breeding ground for young talent," development squad manager Simon Weatherstone told Burnley's official website. "Hopefully he can progress into the first team in years to come."
Brownhill made five senior appearances for Stockport before joining the Clarets.
