Burnley have announced that Ryan Noble has signed a one-year contract with the club.
The 22-year-old striker joins the side on a free transfer, having come to the end of his previous deal with Sunderland at the end of last season.
Manager Sean Dyche told the team's website: "Ryan is a young goalscorer who was searching for a chance at Sunderland and didn't quite get it.
"But we hope to give him as chance here to further his development into possibly a first team player.
"We want him to be hungry to perform and impress and improve himself here. He will get the platform and that is the challenge."
During his time with Sunderland, Noble had loan spells at Watford, Derby County and Hartlepool United.
