Burnley have reportedly made a new bid for Wigan Athletic midfielder James McArthur.
The Premier League newcomers failed with an attempt to sign the Scotland international last week.
It is understood that the Clarets put in an offer of around £4m for the 26-year-old.
However, manager Sean Dyche has now made a renewed bid for McArthur as he looks to boost his squad before deadline day, according to Goal.com.
Burnley started their Premier League campaign on Monday with a 3-1 defeat at home to Chelsea.
