Burnley manager Sean Dyche has revealed that the club will be looking to add new players to the first-team squad during January.
The Turf Moor outfit have already confirmed that Joey Barton will rejoin the club at the start of 2017, and Dyche has admitted that he intends to strengthen his squad in "key" areas.
The 45-year-old is quoted by the Lancashire Telegraph as saying: "We are looking at the market for key positions. We are financially sound, although we still have to run it properly.
"Any money coming in for players won't be a necessary thought for the next one. It's more about who we can get at the right time, who's available and who we can actually get in the building."
Burnley currently sit in 16th place in the Premier League table.
