Burton Albion have enquired about re-signing Fulham striker Cauley Woodrow for a second loan spell, according to reports.
The 22-year-old made 14 Championship appearances for the Brewers during a season-long loan last term and scored five goals, helping the club beat relegation.
According to Sky Sports News, Burton have been interested in bringing Woodrow back to the Pirelli Stadium on a permanent deal, but the Cottagers are currently unwilling to part with him until they have signed another centre-forward.
Fulham have so far signed French striker Aboubakar Kamara from Amiens but are reportedly struggling to seal a deal for Toulouse's Uruguayan attacker Diego Rolan, who is believed not to be interested in a move to Craven Cottage.
Burton have completed permanent deals for Jake Buxton, Matty Lund, Stephen Warnock and Hope Akpan this summer - all on free transfers - while Liam Boyce has also joined on loan.
