Cadiz will be looking to return to winning ways in La Liga when they welcome an out-of-form Getafe side to Estadio Ramon de Carranza on Sunday evening.
The hosts currently sit eighth in the table, having made an excellent start to the season, but the promoted side suffered a 4-0 defeat at Celta Vigo last weekend. Getafe, meanwhile, are without a victory in the league since the middle of October and have dropped into 16th position.
Match preview
Back at this level for the first time since the 2005-06 campaign, Cadiz have made an excellent start to the season, picking up 18 points from their 13 matches to sit eighth in the table, just two points behind fifth-placed Barcelona.
The Yellow Submarine have already produced some standout results this season, notably beating both Barca and Real Madrid, while they have also taken points off high-flying Villarreal.
Cadiz have only won one of their last five in La Liga, though, and will enter this weekend's contest off the back of a heavy 4-0 defeat to a revitalised Celta side last weekend.
That said, Alvaro Cervera's team were victorious in the Copa del Rey on Thursday night, easing their way into the second round of the competition courtesy of a 2-0 success at Ribadumia.
Getafe, meanwhile, also advanced to the second round of the Copa del Rey courtesy of a 2-1 victory at Anaitasuna on Thursday, but the capital side's league form is a cause for concern.
Indeed, Jose Bordalas's team have lost their last two against Levante and Sevilla, while they are without a win in their last seven in Spain's top flight since a 1-0 success over Barca on October 17.
A record of three victories, four draws and five defeats from 12 games has seen them collect just 13 points, and they are currently 16th in the table, just two points outside of the relegation zone.
Getafe have finished eighth, fifth and eighth in their last three campaigns at this level and had been expected to potentially challenge for a Europa League spot during the 2020-21 campaign.
Bordalas's side are without a league win on the road since March, though, and are likely to face another tough examination by a dangerous Cadiz side this weekend.

Team News
Cadiz will again be without the services of Luismi Quezada this weekend, while Augusto Fernandez, Yann Bodiger and Jose Mari remain injury doubts for the home side.
Marcos Mauro is available after injury, but Juan Cala is expected to partner Fali at the heart of the defence, while fit-again Salvi Sanchez should come into the starting side.
There is also likely to be change in attack from the team that featured against Celta, with Anthony Lozano in line to replace Alvaro Gimenez and subsequently join Alvaro Negredo as part of a front two.
As for Getafe, key centre-back Djene Dakonam is back from suspension and should return to the starting side, while Jaime Mata is also available after a ban and is in line to return to the attack.
Chema Rodriguez is still suspended, but Damian Suarez is thought to be winning his battle to be fit, with the 32-year-old in line to feature at right-back for the visitors.
Mauro Arambarri has overcome a knee problem and should start alongside Nemanja Maksimovic in the middle of the park, while Cucho Hernandez could be chosen ahead of Angel to partner Mata in attack.
Cadiz possible starting lineup:
Ledesma; Iza, Fali, Cala, Espino; Sanchez, Jonsson, Alex, Perea; Negredo, Lozano
Getafe possible starting lineup:
Soria; Suarez, Cabaco, Dakonam, Olivera; Nyom, Maksimovic, Arambarri, Cucurella; Mata, Hernandez
We say: Cadiz 0-0 Getafe
Getafe are certainly a better side than the league table suggests, but the fact that they have not won in the league since the middle of October is a concern. Cadiz will be keen to bounce back from their heavy defeat to Celta last weekend, but we are expecting the two sides to share the points here.
