Belgian international has Radja Nainggolan has signed a contract extension with Cagliari Calcio today, committing his future to the Serie A outfit until 2016.
Nainggolan has been consistently linked with bigger clubs in Italy for the past 18 months, with Inter Milan and Roma mentioned in connection with the tough-tackling midfielder.
Cagliari have moved to end that speculation by adding a one-year extension to Nainggolan's current deal, which ties him to the Sardinia side for at least another two seasons.
The 25-year-old has been at Cagliari since the beginning of 2010, playing more than 100 times for the Rossoblu alongside four caps for Belgium.
Nainggolan has been ever-present for Cagliari so far this season, scoring twice in six matches to help Ivo Pulga's side make a solid start in Serie A.
