Cambridge United manager Richard Money praises his team for the way that they bounced back from last week's defeat during Saturday's 0-0 draw with Barnet.

Cambridge United manager Richard Money was pleased with the "resilience" that his side showed during yesterday afternoon's 0-0 draw away at Barnet.

The visiting U's went into the clash on the back of a 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Crawley Town.

However, despite having come under some second-half pressure from Barnet, Money's men held out to claim a share of the spoils.

"We certainly showed some resilience. First half I thought we played well enough and on another day could have come in 1-0 up, but in the second half they really pushed up from the back and squeezed the life out of us. That made it difficult to get the ball moving like we had during the first 45 minutes," he told the club's official website.

"We stayed in the game and might have even pinched it right at the death. Sometimes you have to come off the pitch and say that's a good point, because the way that Barnet pushed us meant it could have been a different story.

"When you walk off the pitch with a result like we had last week, it's important you make the right steps in the right direction so to make a clean sheet is the first step in getting that back."

On Tuesday, Cambridge will be in Johnstone's Paint Trophy action when they take on Dagenham & Redbridge at the Abbey Stadium.
