Cambridge United defender Michael Nelson is hopeful that his side will go on a "nice little run" following their 2-1 victory over Hartlepool United at the weekend.
The U's went into the encounter having failed to beat either Mansfield Town or Cheltenham Town in their previous two outings.
However, having returned to winning ways, Nelson is now eager for more victories to follow.
"In the Mansfield and Cheltenham games we probably played better than we did against Hartlepool, but we won it and that was the most important thing, regardless of how we played," he told the Cambridge Evening News.
"We're just trying to get that consistency at the minute. The performances have been quite good recently and we'd been on a nice little run. We just want to try to turn those good performances into wins every week. Hopefully that win on Saturday will start another run."
Next up for Cambridge is a trip to Bury on Saturday afternoon.
