Cameroon and Ghana played out a goalless draw in their Africa Cup of Nations Group F clash.
Neither team put their mark on the game, managing only three shots on target between them.
Ghana started brightly without making the breakthrough, with Kasim and Newcastle's Christian Atsu firing wide in the opening 15 minutes.
Goalkeeper Richard Ofori made a good save to prevent Christian Bassogog from putting Cameroon in front just before the half-time break.
At the start of the second half, neither side managed to create many clear-cut chances, Bassogog coming closest with a blocked shot and an effort which was ruled offside.
Owusu Kwabena almost broke the deadlock in the 88th minute on his debut, as he drove forward and struck from the edge of the box but the ball rebounded back off the crossbar.
