Cape Verde coach Rui Aguas believes that his side are capable of advancing past the quarter-final stage of the Africa Cup of Nations.
Victory against Zambia in their final group game will guarantee Cape Verde's place in the last eight, but Aguas wants his team to better their quarter-final effort of two years ago.
The 54-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "We will try everything. We have everything in our own hands.
"We want to do better than what we did last time. The minimum objective is to get to the next phase."
Cape Verde have drawn their opening two games against Tunisia and Congo DR respectively.
