Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker has said that he is looking forward to working with new boss Malky Mackay.
Caulker completed his move from Tottenham Hotspur yesterday for a fee in excess of £8m, and the England international has revealed that Mackay was a key factor ahead of the transfer.
The 21-year-old told Sky Sports News: "Malky had a massive influence. I spoke to Malky a couple of days ago, and everyone has given him a glowing reference. I am looking forward to working with him."
The former Swansea City player made 29 appearances for Spurs before his departure from White Hart Lane.
