Goals from Brad Potts, Steven Rigg and Mark Beck have helped Carlisle United beat Stevenage 3-0 in their League Two match this afternoon.
Tom Pett gave the Carlisle defence the run-around early on before finding Chris Whelpdale, who headed over.
A good run from Kyle Dempsey then saw him give the ball to Potts, and his left-footed shot went past Chris Day to put Carlisle in front.
The visitors tried to respond immediately and Roarie Deacon did well to jink into the box, but his shot scuffed wide of the post.
Rigg made it two for Carlisle by tapping in after getting onto the end of Potts's cross.
Stevenage came close to getting back into the game through Dean Wells, who hit the Carlisle crossbar with a header from a corner after the break.
Andrew Bond then fired wide from the edge of the box before Dean Parrett's header was cleared off the line.
Mark Beck eventually made sure of Carlisle's victory with a simple finish after Hayden White squared the ball across goal.
