Carlisle United boss Greg Abbott is hopeful that he can keep experienced striker Lee Miller at the club this summer.
The 30-year-old, who is out of contract next month, has yet to respond to the club's offer of a new one-year deal.
"With Lee we're in a position where both parties have been away and linking up hasn't been possible at this moment in time," Abbott told the club's official website.
"It's one we do want to resolve and we'll seek to do that as quickly as we possibly can."
Miller scored nine goals for the club last season.
