Celta Vigo striker Nolito has been ruled out for the rest of 2015 with a hamstring injury.
The Spain international sustained the injury during his side's 1-0 victory over Espanyol on Saturday, a result that kept Celta in the top four of La Liga after 15 games.
The 29-year-old, whose form this season has seen him linked with the likes of Barcelona and Arsenal, is now expected to miss at least a month, ruling him out until January 2016.
"Celta striker Nolito is suffering with a hamstring injury in the rectus femoris of the right thigh, according to the ultrasound scans that were submitted by the club's medical services," read a club statement.
"Doctor Juan Jose Garcia Cota has said that the recovery time for the injury will be no less than four weeks."
Nolito has eight league goals so far this season.
