Celtic manager Neil Lennon has admitted that the return of James Forrest has given his side a major boost ahead of Tuesday's Champions League tie against Ajax.
The 22-year-old winger, who recently made his comeback for the Hoops, missed nearly the whole of last month with a virus.
Lennon believes that Forrest's return to fitness has come at the best possible time after it was confirmed that Kris Commons would miss the game against Ajax with a hamstring injury.
"He's an important player," Lennon told reporters. "What has delighted me is that he looks fit.
"The virus took a lot out of him but when he plays and he's fit and healthy, he's a huge player for Celtic. It's great to have him back."
Forrest has scored three goals in nine matches for Celtic so far this season.
