Celtic boss Ronny Deila has backed centre-back Efe Ambrose after his difficult display against Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
The Hoops had looked comfortable in the tie, but some questionable decision-making from the Nigerian defender arguably allowed the Turkish side to push back to get on level terms and secure a draw at Celtic Park.
"I am not afraid of playing him. He knows he is in progress and he feels good because he knows he has played well over time," said Deila, according to the Daily Mail.
"He was very sorry about the mistake on Thursday but every player makes mistakes.
"He needs to move on from it, learn from it and follow up the progress he has been making because 98% of his game on Thursday was very good."
