Celtic manager Ronny Deila had criticised his side's defending following their 4-3 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League.
The Norwegian admitted that his team's rear guard was found wanting, but was quick to praise substitutes Anthony Stokes, Darnell Fisher and Liam Henderson for their positive impact.
"It was a poor performance, we were not 100%, we lacked the intensity and aggression we had against Motherwell," BBC Sport quotes Deila as saying. "We were not 100% up for the game.
"Even though we scored three goals and I think the subs were very positive when they came on ,defensively we gave away too many chances and conceded four goals. You should win when you score three goals away in Europe."
Despite the defeat, Celtic went through to the knockout stage of the competition as Group D runners-up.
