Celtic manager Ronny Deila has claimed that his team should have scored more against Aberdeen in their 3-1 win on Saturday.
The Hoops are now seven points clear of the Dons after goals from Leigh Griffiths and James Forrest helped to a comfortable victory at Parkhead.
However, Deila has also praised his side's effort after coming through a congested period, in terms of fixtures.
He told reporters: "I'm a very happy man and proud because playing four games in nine days is tough. The way we played today was very good.
"We performed well for 90 minutes and we should have scored more. Aberdeen had rested and prepared themselves for a week and they had a better chance to get something but we showed we are the best team.
"Now we are seven points clear and that's very good as we head into November. Every game is quite close in the first half hour, whatever team you play."
Celtic have now won six of their opening seven home league games.
