Celtic progressed to the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup with a 2-1 win over St Mirren in the last eight this afternoon.
The visitors broke the deadlock early on, Joe Ledley heading in from a James Forrest cross inside in the opening five minutes.
Celtic looked for a second, but a series of clearances from John McGinn kept the league leaders out.
St Mirren fought back, Esmael Goncalves levelling the scores in the 13th minute, heading in from a McGinn free kick from close range.
The attacking start continued, with Goncalves sending a shot wide, before Forrest got his second assist of the game, curling the ball in for Anthony Stokes to restore the Hoops' advantage.
The hosts pushed hard for an equaliser in the second half, but Fraser Forster made a series of solid saves to protect Celtic's lead.
