One goal for each side in the first half ensured that Ross County drew 1-1 with Celtic at Victoria Park in the Scottish Premier League this afternoon.
The visitors made a bright start, forcing a corner inside the opening two minutes, which Anthony Stokes converted into an early lead for the champions, tapping Kris Commons's delivery in from close range.
Celtic keeper Lukasz Zaluska had to work hard to protect their lead, stopping a Martin Scott shot before collecting an Iain Vigurs free kick.
County were able to level the scores just before half time, as Vigurs blasted the ball in from outside the penalty area.
Vigurs looked to put the home side ahead at the start of the second half, but his 48th-minute effort curled just wide of the post.
Stokes almost restored Celtic's lead moments later, but Michael Fraser was able to tip the striker's effort over the bar for a corner, which was cleared by Grant Munro.
Tony Watt looked threatening in front of goal for the visitors, while Vigurs and Paul Lawson continued to press for the hosts, but neither side could find the winning goal.
