Holders Celtic crashed out of the Scottish League Cup at the semi-final stage this afternoon at the hands of Ross County.
The Bhoys broke the deadlock within the opening 60 seconds through Gary Mackay-Steven, but the balance of power changed in the 13th minute when Celtic defender Efe Ambrose was handed his marching orders for bringing down Alex Schalk inside the area.
Martin Woods stepped up to convert the resultant penalty to draw County level and they went on to make the most of their numerical advantage thanks to second-half goals from Paul Quinn and Schalk.
As a result, it is Jim McIntyre's men that will take on Hibernian in the final at Hampden Park.
