Celtic vs. Ross County (Saturday, 12.30pm)
Under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers, Celtic will begin their defence of the Scottish Premiership title when Ross County visit Parkhead on Saturday.
The Bhoys clinched their 11th top-flight title in 12 years last season, while the Staggies avoided relegation by the skin of their teeth.
We say: Celtic 3-0 Ross County
Having dominated proceedings throughout the previous campaign, Celtic look set to kick off their Premiership title defence with a comfortable victory over Ross County, who narrowly avoided relegation last season.

Dundee vs. Motherwell (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Dundee start life back in the top flight with a home clash against Motherwell on the opening day of the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
After relegation in 2021-22, Dundee bounced straight back, claiming the Championship title on the final day last season.
We say: Dundee 1-1 Motherwell
Both clubs are essentially an unknown quantity given disruption in pre-season.
Dundee have a new manager at the helm while Motherwell have lost their talisman up front, so both may be pleased with an opening day point.

Livingston vs. Aberdeen (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Livingston welcome Aberdeen to the Tony Macaroni Arena for an opening day clash in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
The hosts are already well into the competitive swing of things due to their League Cup commitments, while this will be Aberdeen's first outing of the season.
We say: Livingston 1-2 Aberdeen
Aberdeen's upturn under Robson last season means they are well worthy of their title as the best of the rest behind the Glasgow giants.
Livingston were solid again during the 2022-23 campaign but are the slight outsiders for this Premiership curtain raiser.

St Johnstone vs. Hearts (Saturday, 3.00pm)
Hearts travel to Perth to face St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on the opening weekend of the Scottish Premiership this Saturday.
The hosts enter the season on the back of an embarrassing exit from the League Cup and face a tricky start in the league.
We say: St Johnstone 0-2 Hearts
Hearts won all three meetings between the sides last season - scoring nine - and enter this fixture as favourites once again.
St Johnstone need a response after being humbled by lower-league opposition in the League Cup, but they may find it tough against Steven Naismith's men.

Kilmarnock vs. Rangers (Saturday, 5.15pm)

Killie finished third from bottom last term – six points clear of the bottom two – while the Gers finished seven points shy of champions Celtic.
We say: Kilmarnock 1-3 Rangers
Determined to keep pace with Celtic in 2023-24, Rangers look set to kick off their Premiership campaign with a relatively straightforward victory over Kilmarnock, who have lost each of their last six meetings with the Glasgow giants.
