Celtic reportedly identify Wolfsberger attacker Shon Weissman as a potential replacement for Odsonne Edouard.

Celtic have reportedly began to consider potential replacements for striker Odsonne Edouard.

Having scored 62 goals for the Scottish giants since August 2017, the 22-year-old is being heavily linked with a switch to the Premier League.

Although Celtic would prefer to keep the Frenchman in Glasgow, club officials acknowledge that the frontman will move to a bigger club in the future.

According to The Telegraph, that has led to the top-flight champions contemplating an approach for Wolfsberger's Shon Weissman.

The 24-year-old has enjoyed an excellent campaign at the Austrian side, netting 22 times from just 21 outings in the nation's premier division.

As it stands, Wolfsberger will have to consider offers for the Israel international, who has just over a year left on his contract.
