Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham reportedly emerges as a potential transfer target for French outfit Nice.

Nice have reportedly identified Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham as a potential transfer target.

Ntcham is regarded as a key player at the Glasgow giants and there are just over two years remaining on his contract.

Given the current financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic, Celtic may be prepared to consider offers for the 24-year-old.

According to Le 10 Sport, Nice are contemplating whether to make a move for the Frenchman, who is no stranger to boss Patrick Vieira.

Ntcham was part of the Manchester City academy setup when Vieira possessed the role of reserve team and elite development squad manager at the Etihad Stadium.

The player is also said to 'idolise' his compatriot, leading to suggestions that Nice are one of the favourites for his signature.
