Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Sunderland.
Black Cats boss Jack Ross has already made over a dozen first-team signings since arriving at the Stadium of Light, and it appears that the former St Mirren manager still intends to conduct more business in the transfer market.
According to BBC Sport, Sunderland want to secure a loan deal for Christie before the end of the summer window.
The 23-year-old has spent the last three years contracted to the Scottish Premiership champions, but has made just 15 appearances in all competitions.
The player has spent the last season-and-a half on loan at Aberdeen, netting a total of 10 goals from 45 outings in Scotland's top flight.
