UEFA president Michel Platini has confirmed that there will be no European bans handed down to clubs who breach the new Financial Fair Play rules.
Platini said that the first decisions on a number of clubs being investigated will be made next month, and although there will be punishments these do not include exclusions from European competitions.
"In effect, the first decisions will be announced at the start of May," Platini told Le Parisien.
"But if you are expecting blood and tears, you will be disappointed. There will be some tough things but no exclusions from European competition."
Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City are two of the clubs believed to be under investigation.
