Liverpool defender Kolo Toure has backed the team to reach the last 16 of the Champions League despite Tuesday's defeat to Real Madrid.
The Reds' hopes of getting through Group B hang in the balance after a 1-0 loss in the Spanish capital made it back-to-back losses against the holders.
Brendan Rodgers's side now sit in third place in the standings with two games left, but Toure is confident that they can pick up the necessary points to progress.
"We are still in there," the Ivorian is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We will do everything to win those last two games and get through to the next round. I definitely believe we can do it. If we play with our quality and our heart then we will win those matches."
Liverpool are back in Premier League action on Saturday when they welcome leaders Chelsea to Anfield.
