An early goal by Igor Vetokele has given Charlton Athletic a 1-0 half-time lead away at Brighton & Hove Albion in today's Championship clash at the Amex.
The away side broke the deadlock in the fourth minute, Vetokele firing a powerful shot from the edge of the box that soared into the Seagulls' net to send the Addicks fans into raptures.
Brighton came close to pulling a goal back just a minute later, Adrian Colunga teeing up Joao Teixeira, but Stephen Henderson was able to make an acrobatic one-handed save.
Bruno then attempted a shot while lurking at the far post in the 12th minute, but his effort was too high to trouble the opposition goalkeeper.
The home side were undoubtedly the dominant team towards the latter stages of the first half, but the Addicks were nonetheless able to go in a goal to the good at the break.
