Charlton Athletic defender Milos Veljkovic has been ruled out for the rest season through injury.
The on-loan player from Tottenham Hotspur dislocated his shoulder during Charlton's defeat to Middlesbrough last weekend, and the club have confirmed that he won't play again this season as he requires surgery.
Physiotherapist Erol Umut told the club's website: "This, unfortunately, means that his season is all but over because those kind of injuries normally take around 9-12 weeks to come back from.
"He is very disappointed and said he wanted to try the rehabilitation route, rather than the surgical one, but the damage is quite severe.
"It's a bad one and the shoulder is unstable now so he has been advised by the Tottenham medical staff as well as the shoulder specialist that the best thing for him to do is have an operation."
Veljkovic has made three appearances for the Addicks.
