Charlton Athletic came back from behind to earn themselves a 2-2 draw against Championship leaders West Bromwich Albion last time out, a positive result they will hope can spur them on when Preston North End visit next.
Preston beat Blackburn Rovers 3-2 in their last outing and have lost just once in their last 11 league fixtures. They will be hoping to pick up three points once again to keep the pressure on the league leaders.
Match Preview
Charlton started the season with a bang, going unbeaten in their first six league games of the campaign.
However, the newly-promoted side have dropped off since then, winning just two of their next eight fixtures.
Just one loss from their last four outings has not been terrible form, though, and Lee Bowyer's side continue to defy expectations.
A 2-2 draw against league leaders West Brom was salvaged by a stoppage-time penalty by Josh Cullen, keeping Charlton in the top 10 on goal difference.
Next up is a visit from second-placed Preston, who triumphed 3-2 over Blackburn in their last outing to close the gap to the Baggies.
Preston have lost just once in their last 11 games and boast the best scoring record in the Championship, scoring 27 times in 14 games this term.
Alex Neil's side are mounting an unlikely title charge this term, riding on their superb home form so far.
Preston are unbeaten at Deepdale in the Championship this season, winning six and drawing two of their eight such fixtures this season.

Team News
Charlton boss Bowyer has no injury concerns to contend with and will be able to field the same side that drew so admirably with West Brom last time out.
Preston manager Neil also has a full complement to choose from, and could well name the same team that beat Blackburn.
Both managers have men on the verge of suspension for yellow card accumulation, however.
Neil will hope that defensive midfielder Ben Pearson does not get himself booked, although he does not have a particularly healthy disciplinary record.
Bowyer has three men on the brink of a one-match ban, with Tom Lockyer, Conor Gallagher and Darren Pratley all on four bookings so far this term.
Charlton Athletic possible starting lineup:
Phillips; Lockyer, Pearce, Sara; Solly, Cullen, Pratley, Gallagher, Purrington; Oztumer, Bonne
Preston North End possible starting lineup:
Rudd; Fisher, Bauer, Hughes, Rafferty; Pearson, Gallagher; Browne, Johnson, Maguire; Barkhuizen
We say: Charlton Athletic 0-2 Preston North End
Charlton are a spirited side, but left it very late to snatch a point against West Brom and could find themselves outclassed against the league's highest scorers.
