Wigan Athletic were unable to break down Charlton Athletic as the Addicks held on for a point in Sunday's Championship match.
Charlton had the best two chances in the first half as Bradley Pritchard blazed over from 12 yards before Richard Wood's header was cleared off the line.
The Addicks did, however, lose striker Yann Kermorgant, who was making a return to the starting lineup, to injury.
The game opened up after the interval and Wigan came within inches of going in front three minutes into the second half when Chris McCann headed against the crossbar.
Next to go close for the visitors was James McArthur, who capitalised on a mistake by Michael Morrison but could only fire over.
Nick Powell should have put Wigan in front in the 62nd minute but he somehow lifted the ball over from inside the six-yard box.
Both sides had glimpses of goal in the final half an hour but were unable to find the net.
A point sees the pair rise a place in the table, with Wigan up to 14th and Charlton climbing to 19th.
