Charlton Athletic have completed the signing of Sunderland midfielder El-Hadji Ba on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old began his career in his native France with Le Havre, making his professional debut at the age of 19, before the Black Cats signed him in July 2013.
Ba told the official Charlton website: "It's very nice to be a Charlton player. I'm very happy to be here.
"It was a little bit difficult at Sunderland. I was young and didn't have a lot of time on the pitch, but now I am older and ready to fight at Charlton."
Ba spent last season on loan at Ligue 1 side Bastia, but suffered a broken leg eight games in and was ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.
