Charlton Athletic defender Cedric Evina has revealed that he feels "disappointed" with the club after he turned down their offer of a new contract.
Evina's contract at The Valley expires next month, but while the Frenchman was looking to remain at the club, he has insisted that he requires "more security" to pen a new deal.
The 21-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I have turned down Charlton's offer of a new deal and to be honest, I am very disappointed with the club.
"At this stage of my career, I need more security and unfortunately for whatever reason the club cannot do that for me.
"I now have to consider my future and I am keeping my options open."
The former Arsenal trainee has made 22 appearances for the Addicks.
