Charlton Athletic manager Chris Powell has said that he is remaining "hopeful" of more new signings, with the club having brought in just two players so far.
Powell admits that last year he was trying to reshape the squad and having won promotion this transfer window is a different proposition, but he believes that the club can still expect more players to come through the door.
"Last year I was making wholesale changes and there were plenty of players who became available that I felt were right for us," Powell told the club's official website.
"This year it's been a little bit trickier with regards to bringing players in, but I'm hopeful that will happen over time."
Jordan Cook and Lawrie Wilson are the two players Powell has signed so far.
