Didier Drogba has paid tribute to his teammates after Ivory Coast's 3-0 victory over Africa Cup of Nations co-hosts Equatorial Guinea.
The 33-year-old missed a penalty in the first half before netting a brace in the win, which sees Les Éléphants through to the semi-finals of the competition.
The Chelsea striker said: "My teammates encouraged me and supported me a lot.
"I had to get back into the game and I owed them these goals. I am happy to have produced the goods for them and I am proud of my colleagues."
Drogba is likely to make his Chelsea return against Birmingham on February 18.
