Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has revealed that he is looking forward to returning to Roma in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Rudiger, 24, joined Chelsea from Roma during the summer transfer window, signing a five-year contract with the Premier League champions.
The German international spent two seasons with Roma before leaving for London, and has said that he is relishing the chance to return to the Italian capital in Tuesday's Champions League group match.
"I spoke to my parents [after the draw] and I already knew and my parents even told me that you will get Roma," The Telegraph quotes Rudiger as saying.
"I was happy and I am happy to go to Rome, to go there and play against my old team because I have a big respect. I had two wonderful years there with ups and downs with injuries. They were standing always behind me; the players, the team, the board and the fans."
Chelsea are currently top of Group C on seven points - two points ahead of second-placed Roma following their 3-3 draw at Stamford Bridge on October 18.
