Chelsea goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon has claimed that Paris Saint-Germain stopper Salvatore Sirigu would not succeed in English football.
The Blues will come up against the Italy international at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday evening.
Lollichon believes that Sirigu does not have all the assets required to be a Premier League success.
"To play in France or the Champions League, he's great. But for England, he is lacking in coming for high balls," Lollichon told Journal du Dimanche.
"A goalkeeper that is good in England will be good everywhere but the opposite is not true. There aren't many of them: Neuer, Courtois, De Gea, Cech, Sirigu, I don't see it.
"He is a very good goalkeeper and I like his personality: he seems to bring people together, he thinks about things. That could compensate."
Lollichon moved to Chelsea from Rennes in 2007 at the request of Blues stopper Petr Cech.
