Manchester City will face Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund and Copenhagen in the Champions League group stage.

After winning their fourth Premier League title in five seasons last term, the Citizens were seeded in Pot 1 for this year's draw, while fellow English top-flight sides Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur were seeded in Pot 2.

Pep Guardiola's men will now prepare for tantalising Group G meetings with Dortmund, which will see summer signing Erling Braut Haaland face his former club.

The 21-year-old striker scored 86 goals in 89 games for the Bundesliga outfit before moving to the Etihad Stadium for £51m in July.

City will also come up again La Liga outfit Sevilla, who they previously faced in the 2015-16 Champions League group stage, winning 2-1 at the Etihad before securing a 3-1 victory in the reverse fixture in Spain.

Danish champions Copenhagen were the final team to be drawn into Group G, and will come up against City for the first time since locking horns in the 2008-09 Europa League.

Elsewhere, Liverpool will face Glaswegian giants Rangers in Group A along with Ajax and Napoli, while Scottish Premiership winners Celtic have been drawn against Champions League holders Real Madrid, RB Leipzig and Shakhtar Donetsk in Group F.

Chelsea will come up against AC Milan, Red Bull Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb in Group E, while Spurs have been drawn in Group D with Europa League winners Eintracht Frankfurt, Sporting Lisbon and Marseille.

The first group-stage fixtures for this year's competition are scheduled to take place on September 6/7.
