Paris Saint-Germain defender Maxwell has insisted that he is not thinking about revenge ahead of tonight's Champions League clash with Chelsea.
The two sides will meet in the French capital in the first leg of their last-16 tie.
Chelsea knocked the Parisians out in the quarter-finals of last season's competition on away goals, but Maxwell has claimed that he is only focused on the job in hand rather than what happened in the past.
"There's no feeling of revenge or anything, but both teams know each other a bit better. We hope to do a better job than we did to come out on top this time," he told UEFA's official website.
"It's important for PSG to face a team of that level; it can show that we can continue in this competition, and it will be an interesting tie. It's a match that motivates us to play. Irrespective of what happened last year, it's two great teams with a lot of quality on the pitch."
PSG booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League by finishing behind Barcelona in Group F.
