Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has stated that he will start Diego Costa in tomorrow's Champions League last-16 first leg away at Paris Saint-Germain, but does not expect him to be at his best.
The Brazil-born Spain striker was banned retrospectively for three matches after treading on Liverpool's Emre Can in the Blues' League Cup semi-final win in January.
Mourinho told a news conference in Paris: "Yes, I'll start [Costa]. But I don't think it's good for a player to be three weeks or three matches without starting a game. So I don't think he's in the best of his condition."
Costa has 17 goals in 19 Premier League games this term, but is yet to score in Europe for Chelsea.
