Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has estimated that striker Loic Remy will be out of action for "a couple of weeks" after the Frenchman came off holding his groin in tonight's 6-0 win against Maribor.
The 27-year-old scored the first goal in the Champions League Group G clash, but appeared to have injured himself in the process as he came off for Didier Drogba.
Mourinho told reporters after the game: "Loic Remy has a problem in his groin, I don't know. Normally a muscular problem is a muscular problem so a couple of weeks.
"I was not expecting Didier to play for 75 minutes but he had to come on. Now he has to improve his condition, we know the player he is and we know he can still give us a lot."
Chelsea now lead Group G with seven points from three games.
